Delivery and Shipping Costs
On this page, you find the answers to the following questions:
- How quickly can you effect delivery?

How quickly can you effect delivery?
Usually we need a maximum of ten days after receipt of order confirmation. In most cases we deliver even more quickly. For international deliveries, delivery time may be extended depending on means of transport and destination.
Is it possible to arrange cash on delivery?
For consignments of valuables, cash on delivery is not possible. In our shop, you can pay comfortably and safely by credit card.
What happens if my shipment gets lost by the forwarder?
It is extremely rare for a shipment to get lost or damaged. We are insured against such events. If the forwarder confirms the loss, we aim to provide a replacement delivery which we, however, in most cases will not be able to send within the usual delivery time. Should this happen, we will inform you immediately. You can then decide whether the delay for a replacement delivery is acceptable or whether you wish to cancel the order.
Is it possible to send valuable items to post-office boxes or as general deliveries?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. A consignment of valuables can only be accepted by you personally and must be signed for. In addition, we have to provide the forwarder with either your phone number or your e-mail address so that you can be informed in case you are absent. The forwarders guarantee 100% data protection.
What are the shipping costs and from where do they result?*
Consignments of valuables usually precipitate very high shipping costs. Therefore, we decided to take on 50% of the costs ourselves. In fact, this is not a matter of course with online shops - please understand this as a service on our part.
Below, we have listed the costs that usually arise from consignments of valuables. By comparison, you can see how much is covered by us:

- 7. Take the value, divide it by 2 and round down the result so that you get a whole number. This is your price for the dispatch. You pay less than half!
* A remark to the shipping costs
Please note that not the actual value, but the nature of the shipped good is decisive: jewelleryis categorized as valuables, class II, for which the post only accepts goods up to a value of EUR 500.00. For goods that exceed this value, we have to use forwarders that specialize in valuable items. By comparison, an electronics mail order company, for example, could easily ship a DVD-recorder of EUR 1000.00 value by post, as this recorder is not classed as a valuable. We regret that we are not able to change post regulations and ask for your understanding.
