Animal motifs

Traditional design of old jewellery bear symbols and motifs of animals. Especially Art Nouveau had several jewellery designs of pendants, brooches, hair decoration in the form of butterflies, beetles, bees, flies and dragonflies.

Cross Pendants, Cruxes

In the christian tradition cross pendants were common adornments: silver crosses, crosses in white gold, filligree or solid, made with gemstones, brilliants, diamonds and pearls.
